- ½ cup brown sugar
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup softened butter 🧈
- 1 egg or egg yolk 🥚
- ½ tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ¾ cup chocolate chips 🍫
Instructions
1️⃣ Prepare the Brownie Batter:
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together cocoa powder, flour, and sugar.
- Add the eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract, stirring until smooth.
- Pour the brownie batter into a greased or parchment-lined baking pan and spread evenly.
2️⃣ Make the Cookie Dough:
- In a separate bowl, mix flour, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and baking soda.
- Add softened butter, egg, and vanilla extract, mixing until a soft dough forms.
- Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
3️⃣ Assemble & Bake:
- Drop spoonfuls of cookie dough onto the brownie batter. Gently spread or swirl for a marbled effect.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 25-30 minutes.
- Use a toothpick to check for doneness—the brownie should be slightly fudgy, and the cookie layer should be golden.
